The moments of solitude,
Initially suffocate me,
But the ragged breathing gives way to a slow,deep pace,
As the memories surround me,
I get lost in an unknown world,
All alone,
the way you left me,when you did,
The days and nights,
give way to weeks and months,
The weeks and months,
give way to years and more years,
But life seems to stand still
for a part of me,
The rays of truth
blind my eyes,and make me blink,
yet the part in me,
fails to acknowledge the truth,
And accept the fact,
that you ve gone..
forever..
To a distant world,never to come back,
leaving me behind to a forsaken fate...
